The Apica

About us

APICA celebrated its 45th anniversary of incorporation in 2025!

Its mission is to stimulate and support Aylmer’s business community in addressing the challenges of the region’s socio-economic development. APICA is recognized as a key organization representing the interests, issues, and opportunities of Aylmer’s business community.

APICA is both a social and professional network. For example, we organize 5 to 7 networking events hosted by our members, allowing the business community to discover local businesses. We also host an annual golf tournament (May 21) and will be offering new training sessions led by experts from Détail Formation at a very affordable cost ($65).

APICA also organizes activities that bring the entire community together and give festivalgoers the opportunity to discover both the businesses of Old Aylmer and its historical and cultural heritage, including Le Vieux-Aylmer se sucre le bec (April 11–12, 2026) and the Marché Enchanté (October 18–19, 2026).

Of APICA’s 120+ members, nearly 50% are located between Front Street and Belmont Street, while 40% are spread throughout the Aylmer sector and 10% are based in the Industrial Park. Among these members, 57% offer professional services to the general public and businesses, 33% operate in the restaurant and food sectors, and 20% are non-profits, institutions, or political representatives (municipal, provincial, and federal).

Business owners—make sure you take advantage of the services offered by APICA by visiting our website!

And to everyone in the community, discover what Aylmer’s business community has to offer by consulting the APICA member directory.
